Welcome to EquiStable. This Privacy Policy explains how EquiStable LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our websites, mobile applications (the "App"), and services (collectively the "Services").

2. Data Collected

We collect information you provide directly to us, information we collect automatically, and information we obtain from third parties.

a) Information you provide directly to us:

  • Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. Optionally, you can provide your phone number and emergency contacts.
  • Profile Information: You can add further information to your profile, such as an avatar image.
  • Horse Information: We collect information you provide about your horses, including name, breed, date of birth, gender, health records (such as vaccinations, vet and farrier appointments), feeding plans, and other custom data fields that you or your stable manager define.
  • Payment Information: When you purchase a subscription or top up credits, we use a third-party payment processor (Stripe) to process the transaction. We do not store your credit card details directly, but we may store records of the transaction, your Stripe customer ID, and your subscription status.
  • Communications: If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you.

b) Information we collect automatically:

  • Riding Data: When you use the riding tracking feature in our App, we collect sensor data from your mobile device, including GPS coordinates, timestamps, acceleration data, and gyroscope data. These are used to provide riding statistics and power our AI movement analysis.
  • Usage Information: We collect information about your activities within the Services, such as booking history, features used, and interactions with the user interface.
  • Device and Log Information: We collect log information about your device, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, and access times.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Providing, maintaining, and improving our Services, including the booking calendar, health logs, and payment systems.
  • Processing transactions and sending relevant information, including confirmations and invoices.
  • Personalizing your experience, such as showing relevant information for your selected stable.
  • Providing the AI-powered movement analysis: We use historical and real-time riding data to analyze rhythm and movement patterns, highlight consistency trends, and generate personalized training and recovery recommendations.
  • Communicating with you, including sending technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
  • Sending notifications about your bookings, tasks, and health reminders based on your notification settings.

4. How We Share Your Data

Your privacy is of great importance to us. We share data only in the following cases:

  • With other users (as directed by you): As a core function of the Service, you have granular control over your data. A horse owner can grant specific access rights to other users such as a co-rider (sharer) or trainer, so they can view horse data or make bookings on their behalf.
  • With your stable manager: If you are a member of a stable, the stable manager of that stable has access to the information required to manage the stable, such as your user profile, your horse's profile, bookings, and feeding plans.
  • With service providers: We work with third-party providers who need access to your data to perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting (Google Cloud), and infrastructure services.
  • For legal reasons: We may disclose your data if we believe that doing so is required or prescribed in accordance with applicable law, regulatory rules, or legal processes.

5. Data Security & Retention

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information. All sensitive data such as API keys and database credentials are securely managed in the Google Secret Manager. We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. If you decide to delete your account, we initiate a permanent deletion of your personal and associated data from our systems.

6. Your Rights and Choices
